His Majesty King Colin I is the founder, and current King of the Kingdom of Tanaau. His reign began on 17 November 2023, when the Tanaauan throne was established.
He currently is the only person to have held the throne of Tanaau.
Personal Life
Colin was born in the United Kingdom and has only ever lived in the UK. He is interested in philosophy, theology, politics, and military science.
Colin is a devout Protestant - often being compared to the Puritans due to his strict adherence to Protestant values and being conservative in his faith. He typically responds to these claims by saying "So what if I am a Puritan? If being mindful of God makes me one, then I embrace it."
Micronational Life
Colin is the national founder and first King of Tanaau. He established Tanaau on 17 November 2023 and assumed the throne. He is the sole author and signatory of the Constitution of Tanaau, and established a number of government positions, offices and institutions. He also established and gave the basic structure to the Tanaauan military.
He has been seen to be highly engaged in the development of Tanaau and committed to its success as a state.
Public Perception
Colin is perceived as an extrovert and has been described as "quite funny" by some of his peers. His political views are somewhat publicly known from the time he spent leading a large political group in his sixth-form college, but he tries to keep his political views somewhat private within Tanaau unless he is required to step in to provide a solution to a political problem internally.
